2021 Tour Dates for Indoor Ensembles

Update, December 17: The difficult decision has been made to not move forward with the Riverview Winds for the 2021 season due to low enrollment and the potential for further unforeseen circumstances from the COVID-19 pandemic. Additionally, the schedule has been updated as the winter guard and percussion teams will not be attending the Braden River High School regional.

A couple weeks ago the Florida Federation of Colorguards Circuit announced its 2021 season, which has been shortened and will include several major policy changes in light of the COVID-19 pandemic, including strict timing guidelines for teams to be on site, face coverings and reduced capacity for spectators.

The season will begin for the Band Program’s three indoor performing ensembles—the Blue Radiance Winter Guard, Indoor Percussion Ensemble and Riverview Winds Indoor Winds Ensemble—on Saturday, February 6 at Durant High School for the Premiere West competition. Because of the truncated season, our three teams are all currently slated for the same competition schedule.

• February 6, FFCC Premiere West, Durant HS
• February 27, FFCC Regional, Plant City HS
• March 13, FFCC Regional, Strawberry Crest HS
• March 20, FFCC Riverview Showcase of Champions, Riverview HS
• March 26–28, FFCC Championships, Daytona Ocean Center

Additionally, for the seventh year in a row, the Band Program will host its own FFCC regional, the Showcase of Champions, on the last weekend of the regular competition season on Saturday, March 20.

As always, we encourage everyone to continue to follow COVID-19 guidance from public health experts including staying home whenever possible, wearing proper face coverings over the nose and mouth, physical distancing and frequent hand washing.
