The night also marked the last home game of the Riverview Sharks football team and thus, the end of the 2020 marching season. “It’s appropriate that tonight marks the end of marching band for us this year, while also allowing us to take time to highlight and thank our seniors,” said Director Mr. Davis.

Mr. Davis continued, “The entire marching band has been through a lot this year, as has society in general, but our seniors have been a guiding light and source of inspiration for us all. My only wish was that we could have given this talented group a proper season, but we are optimistic for the upcoming concert season and indoor season for our winter guard and indoor percussion and winds groups.”

The Band Program has already begun making preparations for the 2021 Florida Federation of Colorguards Circuit season for the Blue Radiance Winter Guard, Indoor Percussion Ensemble and Riverview Winds Indoor Winds Ensemble, and hopes to announce final plans soon.
