School Closure Extended through End of School Year

Governor DeSantis announced today that, in light of the ongoing COVID-19 pandemic, all schools in the state of Florida would remain closed for the rest of the school year. Students will continue to learn via the school district’s eLearning. For more information please check the district’s website. 

Today’s announcement also, unfortunately, means that all graduations for the school district have been cancelled for May. Tentative dates have been booked at the Florida State Fairgrounds for July 13–23 in the event that the district is able to safely hold in-person ceremonies.
