Winter Guard, Indoor Percussion Place in Plant City

This past weekend both of the Band Program’s competitive indoor ensembles, the Blue Radiance Winter Guard and Indoor Percussion Ensemble, took to the floor at the Florida Federation of Colorguards Circuit (FFCC) regional hosted at Plant City High School.

Scoring 63.89, the winter guard earned third place—and marked over a 20-point improvement over their score at Premiere in January.

Later that evening, the percussion team earned a score of 67.7 and second place, giving themselves a near 8-point improvement over their Premiere performance.

The winter guard performs next at the FFCC Durant High School Regional on March 4, and both teams perform at the FFCC Braden River High School Regional on March 11—their final competition before Circuit Championships at the end of March.
