The largest and most visible ensemble of the Band Program, the Blue Coats perform at every home football game and select away games. The Blue Coats also perform competitively as a member of the Florida Marching Band Championships circuit and attend the annual Florida Bandmasters Association Marching Music Performance Assessment.

Instrumentalists in the Band Program have several opportunities to perform during concert season, either as part of the Concert Band for beginning students, the Wind Ensemble for advanced students or the Jazz Band, which is an optional ensemble for students who choose to further their experience by learning the nuance of jazz music.

Color guard members compete as the Blue Radiance Color Guard during the fall marching season, serving as the main visual component of the Blue Coat Regiment. During the indoor season, the team is known as the Blue Radiance Winter Guard and competes with the Florida Federation of Colorguards Circuit.

The Indoor Percussion Ensemble is an optional ensemble of the Band Program that allows percussionists to have an intensive educational experience with the world of indoor percussion, consisting of a front ensemble and drumline. Students compete as part of the Florida Federation of Colorguards Circuit throughout the state.
