2023–2024 Booster Board, Officers Elected

Earlier this month the results of the Booster elections for the 2023–2024 school year were announced at the Band Program’s annual end-of-year celebration banquet and included another historic number of members—15 Booster family members were nominated and duly elected to serve on the board, the most in school history.
These volunteers will work alongside incoming Director of Instrumental Music Rob Luster to continue to provide an intensive and comprehensive educational experience in the musical, marching and pageantry arts that is dedicated to transforming students’ and families’ lives. Members of the board met for their first meeting yesterday and held officer elections. The members of the board and their positions are:

• Rachel Thompson, Winds Liaison
• Rachel Vetter, Color Guard Liaison
• Ana Maria Montejo, Percussion Liaison
• Kim Smith, Fundraising Co-Coordinator
• Lisa Tackus, Fundraising Co-Coordinator
• Sharon Crochet, Volunteer and Membership Coordinator
• Michelle Denning, Student Nutrition Co-Coordinator
• Audrey Williams, Student Nutrition Co-Coordinator
• Barbie Perez, Uniform Coordinator
• Jassira Cuevas, Equipment Coordinator
• Doris Stamper, Merchandise Coordinator
Also at yesterday’s meeting, retiring Staff Director Emeritus and Program Administrator Travis Miller and outgoing members of the 2022–2023 Booster Board were recognized, including four senior parents whose students are graduating this spring: Tanya Cebollero, president; Dawn Walker, vice president and Gina Graham and Faith Jones, student nutrition co-coordinators.
