Color Guard Program Earns Seat on Circuit’s Advisory Board

As a recognition of the success of the Blue Radiance Winter Guard’s first place win at the Florida Federation of Colorguards Circuit (FFCC) Championships in Daytona at the end of the March, the team has been granted a two-year term of membership on the FFCC’s Colorguard Advisory Board.

Nicholas DeBadts, the Band Program’s designer and assistant director for the Blue Radiance Color Guard Program, will be the official representative to this influential and critically important board.

The board’s purpose and responsibilities are to discuss relevant issues to the physical and philosophical direction of the FFCC and advise the circuit’s Education Committee on the direction of initiatives for the coming season. Additionally, board members also address and suggest any changes to the Policy and Procedure Manual for the coming season.

This recognition is just the latest in the developments of the Band Program’s overall success in furthering the tradition of excellence for all of its students and ensembles.
