Blue Radiance Earns Fourth Overall at Plant City, Second in Movement and Equipment; Indoor Percussion Ensemble Update

Following yesterday’s virtual retreat for this weekend’s Florida Federation of Colorguards Circuit regionals, the girls of the Blue Radiance Winter Guard earned fourth place in the Scholastic Class AAA at Plant City High School with a score of 68.11—a mere .33 away from the bronze medal.

Beyond their overall placement, the team placed second in both the individual equipment and individual movement captions—a testament to the hard work and high level of achievement the girls demonstrate on a regular basis.

The Indoor Percussion Ensemble was originally scheduled to also perform at the Plant City regional but did not do so because of a change in programming from competing in the Scholastic Marching AA Class to the Concert A Class. Both teams will compete at the upcoming Strawberry Crest High School regional on March 13.
