Color Guard Makes their WGI Debut

This weekend the Riverview Color Guard Program made had their premier performance at a Winter Guard International event - the Southeastern Color Guard Championship at the University of Central Florida. 

The team competed in the third round of the Scholastic A Class and scored a 74.13 and 8th place. 

Director of Instrumental Music Mr. B had this to say, “The girls were incredibly excited to be part of history at Riverview in being the first team to perform at a WGI event and you could feel their energy as they took to the floor. They made a very strong showing and I think it’s good that they got a feel for a venue like the CFE Arena because the Ocean Center in Daytona is very similar. We can’t wait to see how they do there!”
