Recognizing International Women’s Day and Unsung Heroes

On this International Women’s Day we want to honor the often unsung heroes of the Riverview Band Program—our Booster Board! These moms work tirelessly to provide a first-class experience to our students, staff and fellow family volunteers year-round behind the scenes. The Band Program is able to support Superior-rated and award-winning ensembles because of these great women and we could not be more thankful.

In addition to the leadership of our Booster Board, we also are thankful for the other women who help shepherd the Band Program: Color Guard Program Director Suzanne Mason and Staff Photographer and Instructor Michelle Miller. Mrs. Mason’s and Michelle’s dedication and contributions to our students allow them to thrive every day and enjoy an intensive and comphresensive educational experience.
